The clothing brand Sliwaa was founded by Saloua Garrouj. Since childhood, she visited the old medina in fes with her grandfather. For hours and hours they walked together through the winding narrow streets of the old medina. You get inspired by the colors, smells, alleys and stores there. It is fascinating to see different crafts there working by hand. A visit in the medina takes you back hundreds of years where everything is still authentic. Sliwaa's garments are also made in an authentic way in the old medina. Everything is handmade by several local women artisans. The local artisans use for the clothes woven fabrics, sustainable and recycled materials. We are a brand where honest and sustainable production of the clothes is of highest importance.
